Rob Miles

Rob was born in Bristol, England one of four children to a draper in a family business and a stay at home mother. At the age of 11, he attended the City’s Blue Coat school which was founded in 1585. After graduating from Swansea College, University of Wales, Rob worked for the UK’s largest packaging company, MetalBox. Rob remained in the packaging industry for much of his career, relocating with Ball Corporation to Düsseldorf, Germany for 8 years and eventually ending his career in Broomfield, Colorado as Senior VP Global Sales.

Rob bought land in Breckenridge in 2015, and completed his house in 2017, anticipating using his Breckenridge house as a second home, but he and his wife enjoyed Breckenridge so much they sold their house in Lafayette, near Boulder, and relocated full time to the mountains.

For the last 6 years Rob has been active with the Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company (BETC), a professional non-profit theatre company who perform primarily at The Dairy Center, Boulder. He was invited to join the board in 2017 and became President in 2019. He is currently Vice President and his board term ends in February 2024.
He and his wife have been season ticket holders of NRO for two years, and it is a highlight of their summers in Breckenridge to support and enjoy the NRO concerts. Rob played the violin at school, university and has enjoyed being in orchestras of varying abilities.
Rob and his wife enjoy skiing, golf and hiking. They travel regularly to the UK and Europe and enjoy road trips throughout the US. They also enjoy social and low level club bridge.
