Claire Salli is a musician based in Lubbock, Texas. As a performer, Claire has given recitals across the United States, Italy, and Croatia. She has placed in several competitions such as the American Prize and Elise Hall Competition. She is an advocate for new music and has commissioned over 12 works for the saxophone. She maintains an active teaching career on saxophone and clarinet teaching private lessons and weekly masterclasses.

What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I’ve had my bangs since I was 12 years old!

What are you most looking forward to this summer with the NRO?
I’m excited to meet new people, learn more about the operational side of the music industry, and play saxophone when the NRO needs one!

What activities/hobbies do you most enjoy?
