He ended up graduating from Full Sail University with a bachelor’s degree in music production and immediately moved to Portland, Oregon to work in the music industry. He has been working as an audio engineer in the Pacific Northwest since 2016 and has been working for the Oregon Symphony since 2019. He enjoys spending free time in the mountains snowboarding or practicing yoga on days off.

What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
People may not know because I work in production but I play a handful of instruments. I started playing piano at age 7 and I grew up playing trumpet in concert band starting in 5th grade. I taught myself to play piano and bass when I started high school and I have a recording studio in my apartment where I can play all of my instruments.

What are you hoping to learn this summer at the NRO?
I already have a lot of experience working in an orchestra setting, but there is always more to learn especially when it comes to working in a new space with new people. I am really excited to build chemistry with the staff over the summer and for the team to provide a great experience for the musicians on stage and for the audiences at the shows. I am also just excited to explore the natural beauty of Colorado!

What activities/hobbies do you most enjoy?
Snowboarding, Yoga, hanging out with my wife and my dog
