The National Repertory Orchestra (NRO) announces Robert Moody, Music Director of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra and Music Director of the Arizona Musicfest, will conduct “Mahler’s World – Symphony No. 5” on Saturday, August 5, at the Riverwalk Center in Breckenridge. Mr. Moody will stand in for NRO Music Director and “Mahler’s World” conductor Michael Stern, who is currently asymptomatic but nevertheless has tested positive for COVID-19.
Out of an abundance of caution for Mr. Stern’s well-being and that of the musicians, staff and audience, we thank Mr. Moody for stepping in on such extraordinarily short notice. We also apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and continue to look forward to this fantastic program.
