In the past several months the National Repertory Orchestra has welcomed four new board members.  They all bring varied strengths and experiences that are sure to benefit the NRO and all of our constituents.  We are proud to introduce them to you…

Pam Piper
Pam PiperPam held a leadership position in information technology at OMB, the largest of the White House agencies, after stints in the private sector and the Department of Defense. Pam and her spouse, Kai Yeung, have owned a home in Breckenridge for more than 15 years and have now fully retired here.

Both Pam and Kai are long-time fans of the NRO, having joined in support of the mission as Friends of the NRO more than five years ago. They enjoy attending concerts, helping with the weekly dinners, and hosting musicians through Community Link. Read more…

A 1990 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Michael served as an officer and Naval Aviator for 10 years.  Michael has also held leadership positions with General Electric and Home Depot and executive positions with Maxum Petroluem, BAE Systems, and Atlas Oil. Most recently, he and his wife, Lauren, purchased Kitchenscapes, a kitchen, bath, and custom cabinetry design firm in Breckenridge. They contribute to various causes focusing on the arts, social causes, and German Shepherd Dog rescue. John spent his entire career in financial
operations with General Mills, a global consumer foods company headquartered in Minneapolis. He held numerous operating roles in domestic finance, marketing, and sales, as well as corporate leadership roles in recruiting, planning, supply chain and internal audit. John retired in 2010 as VP, Global Business Services.

John and his wife, Connie, are enthusiastic fans of the National Repertory Orchestra as well as donors and volunteers since 2012.  Read more…

 

Pam WeigandPam Weigand
Pam and Sonny were introduced to the NRO after building a house in Breckenridge in 1997. She served on the NRO Board for six years during the early 2000’s, focusing on the development of new fundraising events and opportunities. 

An active volunteer, Pam has also been involved in other non-profits, including: Gathering Place Association (Treasurer), Junior Symphony Guild(Board of Trustees), Fine Arts Foundation (Finance Chair), Central City Opera Association Guild, Assistance League of Denver, and the Girl Scouts of America.  Read more…
