Michael BruggemanThe National Repertory Orchestra welcomes Michael Bruggeman back to the NRO Board of Trustees.  Mike has served on our board in prior years and has remained an active supporter and concert-goer.

He holds an MSOD in Organizational Design and Development from Loyola University’s School of Business in Chicago, where he spent 7 of his 22 years in hospital administration.  Mike has been responsible for strategic planning, marketing, support operations, clinical operations, IT and human resources functions.  Mike maintains a personal interest in integrative health and wellness services, and has led several building projects and new service implementations which bridge traditional and nontraditional therapies in the hospital setting.

Mike is the CEO of a several thriving ecommerce skin care and wellness lifestyle businesses. NatrualBeautyGroup.com was founded in 2002 and was reinvented in 2014 to encompass a broader wellness lifestyle focus.  In 2008, Mike embarked on a personal quest to develop a men’s product line equivalent in scope to any of the major women’s brands.  Mike is also the CEO of Organic Male OM4, the first type-specific skin care system to address the clinical differences in male skin. Organic Male is offered in leading spas throughout North America and hotel brands such as Starwood, Marriott, Montage Properties, Hyatt, Omni and Leading Hotels of the World.  OM4’s is currently expanding export operations in targeted international locations.

Prior to working in hospital administration and becoming an entrepreneur, Mike pursued a music career and majored in bassoon performance with a minor in piano.  After switching majors in junior year, Mike still maintains an interest in the performing arts, supporting many music organizations across the US.  In 2003, Mike launched and served as Board Chair of the La Conner Institute of Performing Arts an organization that sought to support cultural tourism in the Town of La Conner by offering an annual Winter into Spring performing arts program, including the very popular Emerging Artist concert which was an audition only event for young local artists.

Mike enjoys living in Summit County which affords him the opportunity to fully embrace his life’s motto: work hard, play hard and make a difference.
