What inspired you to become a musician?
Growing up with classical music (mostly Mozart and Tchaikovsky) and hearing my first orchestra concert in Germany when I was five.

Name three of your favorite composers:
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johannes Brahms, Max Richter, Clara Schumann

What is an interesting fact about you and/or your instrument?
I'm obsessed with crosswords and I solve one almost every day.

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
Biking, taking long walks outside, and reading

Why did you choose the NRO?
I'm looking forward to a really engaging orchestra experience that resembles a professional setting, both with regard to the pieces programmed and the length of the rehearsal cycles. I chose the NRO for the opportunity to learn a lot more orchestra repertoire in a short amount of time, and to learn how to prepare orchestra parts more efficiently.
