Bio:
Shannon’s main teachers include Yumi Sasaki (Chetham’s School of Music), Sibbi Bernhardsson (Oberlin), and Janet Sung (DePaul). As well as her performance degree from Oberlin, she also received a minor in German. In Chicago, Shannon teaches at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago, has performed with the 5th Wave Collective and the Northbrook Symphony Orchestra, and has enjoyed finding ways to perform Scots fiddle music.
What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I have a 3rd Dan black belt in Taekwondo
