Sean Diehl

Sean Diehl has been studying the violin since the age of 4. He attended Walnut Hill School for the Arts and New England Conservatory Preparatory school simultaneously for high school, and has just finished his sophomore year of college at McGill University where he is studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance with Andrew Wan. While at NEC Prep, he studied with Jason Horowitz, Robyn Bollinger, and Soovin Kim, while also winning the NEC Prep Category B Concerto Competition and the A Far Cry competition, and participating in the Fischoff Competition. He has attended the Boston University Tanglewood Institute and Orford in previous summers, while also touring Iceland, Norway, and Central Europe with the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra at New England Conservatory. Sean enjoys tennis, record collecting, and reading.

What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I used to play USTA level tennis matches.
