What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I spent three months working on highly classified cryptography problems for the National Security Agency. To get a top secret security clearance, I went through the whole shebang, including a couple terrifying polygraph examinations!

Name three of your favorite composers:
Felix Mendelssohn, Lillian Fuchs, Paul Hindemith

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
Throw a frisbee or kick a soccer ball!

What are you most looking forward to this summer with the NRO?
I cannot wait to return to the most beautiful state in the Union and check out some bike routes while performing so much music!
