What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I love playing the violin, but I also enjoyed playing other instruments too. I used to play the flute for over a decade in various concert bands, and also played the viola in my chamber group back in high school. I am also a soccer fan! I support Arsenal and I am predicting we will win the Premier League this season.

Name three of your favorite composers:
Sergei Prokofiev, Dmitri Shostakovich, Johannes Brahms

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
Cooking, or with other people’s cats.

What are you most looking forward to this summer with the NRO?
I have not served as co-principal second for an entire summer full of concerts before, so that would be an experience in itself!
