What inspired you to become a musician?
My Parents. They surrounded me with music my entire childhood.

Who are your all-time favorite composers and/or pieces? Why?
Ein Heldenleben by Richard Strauss and Symphony No. 4 by Anton Bruckner

What is an interesting fact about you and/or your instrument?
I almost decided to play the saxophone in middle school instead of the horn because I liked the neck strap.

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
I enjoy going to the gym, watching romantic movies, and baking.

Why did you choose the NRO?
I know that I lack experience with repertoire so I’m very excited to have the opportunity to learn a lot of new music and at a faster pace than what is usually offered to me. I also love hiking so I’m excited to have that outlet outside of playing.
