Chicago native Julius Adams recently earned his Master’s of Music degree from the College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, where he studies with Dr. Catharine Lees. Julius is currently serving as principal viola of CCM’s Philharmonic Orchestra. He has served as principal violist of the University of Illinois Symphony Orchestra, Prague Summer Nights Festival Orchestra, and Marrowstone Music Festival’s Chamber Orchestra. Julius has performed in prestigious venues across the United States, Europe, and China.

What are you most looking forward to this summer with the NRO?
Making new friends and connecting with exceptionally talented musicians, seeing the magnificent mountains of Colorado forthe first time, and trying the local cuisine!

What is your favorite show, movie, or podcast?
Anything related to Batman! The Dark Knight trilogy is still one of my all-time favorites.
