Bio:
Beginning violin at age nine, Jason Hurlbut studies with Janet Sung at DePaul University. Previously, he studied with Renee Jolles at the Eastman School of Music as well as Sally Thomas, Jan Sloman, and Ann Setzer at the Meadowmount School of Music. He was a youth finalist in the Schoenfeld International String Competition and has soloed with the Moscow Ballet. For fun Jason likes to read, run, and surf.
