Bio:
Jamison Hillian, from Chesterfield, S.C., entered the Curtis Institute of Music in 2018 studying with Richard Woodhams. While there he received numerous lessons with Katherine Needleman, Toyin Spellman-Diaz, Elizabeth Koch Tiscione, Philippe Tondre, and Robert Walters. Mr. Hillian has performed at Carnegie Hall as a member of the Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Curtis Symphony Orchestra. He has spent previous summers at the Brevard Music Center and the Round Top Festival Institute. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, anime, and going to the gym.
What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I really enjoy song writing. When I have enough free time and an empty house, I like to record music on my laptop. My goal is to one day create an R&B album with 8 original songs.
