Isaac King started his career in music from a young age. He has participated in the West Shore Symphony, Harrisburg Youth Orchestra, Cairn University Orchestra, as well as the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. He has attended summer festivals including the David Kim Orchestral Institute, NOI, and the NRO. Mr. King finished his undergraduate studies at Cairn University in 2023 with a B.M. in Viola Performance, studying under Rachel Ku. Beginning in the fall Mr. King will start his Artistic Diploma program at McDuffie Center for Strings studying under Victoria Chiang and Rebecca Albers.

What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I can drink an entire plastic water bottle in a little over 2 seconds.

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
I am an avid Lego builder.

What are you most looking forward to this summer with the NRO?
I hope to learn new and interesting rep. and meet new colleagues.
