Bio:
Haley has held positions in many ensembles including Boulder Philharmonic, and the Eugene and Longmont symphonies. Currently they hold positions in Chicago’s Civic Orchestra and Orchestra Iowa. They’ve worked with pedagogues and ensembles like Richard Aaron, Mark Kosower, the Takacs and Oistrakh quartets, Chicago and Colorado Symphonies, and the Indigo Girls. They’ve outgrown the 1/10th size cello on which they started and now play a full size Whedbee.

What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I have a 1st degree black belt in American Kenpo Karate that I earned when I was fifteen.

Gustav Mahler, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and recently, Leos Janacek!

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
Work tirelessly on my Animal Crossing island

What are you most looking forward to this summer with the NRO?
Playing so much wonderful repertoire with great musicians!
