Bio:
A Dallas-Fort Worth native, Forrest holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and his master’s from the Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University. Forrest has commissioned over 30 new works for brass quintet, and he currently holds positions with the Orchestra Now and as the soprano cornetist of the Dallas Brass Band. Outside of music, Forrest loves to backpack in the wilderness for multiple days at a time to enjoy the simple things in life.

What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I love exploring the humors of the universe through art, music, nature, meditation and science.

Backpacking
