What inspired you to become a musician?
My parents and my teachers inspire me.

Who are your all-time favorite composers and/or pieces? Why?
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Richard Strauss, and Frederic Chopin.

What is an interesting fact about you and/or your instrument?
I didn’t know what a french horn was before I started playing it. My dad handed it to me and said, “You’re going to play this,” and I think it’s working out pretty well so far.

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
I like to go on long walks, read, and play softball.

Why did you choose the NRO?
I chose the NRO because it offers what I’m looking for, a lot of good repertoire! I’m excited to learn and play pieces I’ve never heard of.
