Education:
Current Senior at the University of Michigan getting a BM in trombone performance.

Cooper is a Trombonist based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is currently playing with the Pittsburgh Symphony as their Trombone fellow. Over the course of this past year, Cooper has had the chance to play with the Buffalo Philharmonic as well as being named a semi-finalist for both the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. Cooper has also been a member of the Spoleto Festival Orchestra for the 2022 and 2023 season.

What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I used to play on a competitive club soccer team but ended up quitting in order to dedicate more time to music.

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
I love to cook.

What are you most looking forward to this summer with the NRO?
I hope to learn how to play as well as possible in an orchestra. I also hope to learn how to retain repertoire at a fast rate since that it is what is expected in the professional world.
