What inspired you to become a musician?
I was inspired to become a musician after participating in a side-by-side concert with the Danish Opera Orchestra.

Name three of your favorite composers:
I think my top 3 favorite composers are Schubert, Strauss and Messiaen. Their music speaks to me more easily than other composers.

What is an interesting fact about you and/or your instrument?
My instrument turned 100 last year!

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
I really enjoy Crosswords, Scrabble, Contract Bridge, and drinking (lots of) espresso!

Why did you choose the NRO?
I chose NRO because I love playing in an orchestra and I wanted a summer where that could be my primary focus. It was also important to me to go somewhere I had never been before. I've never been to Colorado but I've only ever heard great things about it so it seemed like a perfect fit!
