Bassoonist Michael Lamar is currently earning his Master’s of Music degree at The Juilliard School as a student of William Short, Principal Bassoon of the Metropolitan Opera. A native of Southern California, Michael has been in New York for six years and earned his Bachelor’s degree at the Manhattan School of Music, studying with Roger Nye of the New York Philharmonic. Michael expects to graduate from Juilliard in 2021 and plans to pursue an orchestral career.

In San Diego we have something called a California Burrito. Carne Asada, French fries, cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole.
