Leigh PoultonLeigh Poulton will be joining the National Repertory Orchestra for the 2014 season, as the Development Intern. Currently, Leigh is a graduate assistant at Duquesne University for studies in flute performance under the tutelage of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. In July 2013, she graduated from Duquesne’s Palumbo Donahue School of Business earning an MBA in Sustainability. Through the MBA experience, Leigh traveled and studied in Europe and completed the accelerated program in eleven months. Prior to graduate school, Leigh earned an undergraduate degree in flute performance at Duquesne University, winning several local and national performance
competitions.

Along with a passion for the arts, Leigh has had many experiences in political campaign work. In 2011, she began a fellowship with Obama for America, working with local and national politicians during the 2012 election. Outside of school, Leigh enjoys discovering all the exciting sights and sounds of Pittsburgh, performing and visual arts, cooking,
running, and fashion.
