Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Elena currently lives in Houston, Texas. She has previously performed with the Houston Symphony, the International Chamber Orchestra of Puerto Rico, Texas Music Festival, Round Top Festival Institute, and the Brevard Music Center Institute. She received degrees in clarinet performance from Northwestern University and the University of Houston. Elena’s previous teachers include Mark Nuccio, Rob Patterson, Steve Cohen, and J. Lawrie Bloom.
