Bio:
Austin, a returning NRO fellow, is currently studying at Northwestern University with Gail Williams and Jon Boen where he frequently plays with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. He completed his undergraduate work at Southern Methodist University under Greg Hustis, Haley Hoops, David Heyde, and Alex Kienle. He has had the opportunity to play with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and the New World Symphony, and was also a fellow at the Sarasota Music Festival in 2019. Austin is so grateful to spend another summer in Breckenridge.

What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I used to be on a country-western swing dancing team in high school… although, I don’t know if I can still dance.

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
Spending time with my friends and family.

Working with old friends and colleagues in the beautiful town of Breckenridge.
