Originally from Laurel, Maryland, Wyeth Aleksei has performed with orchestras including the New York Philharmonic and Metropolitan Opera. He has performed under conductors Marin Alsop, David Robertson, and Jaap van Zweden, performing at venues including Carnegie Hall, David Geffen Hall, and the Kennedy Center. He has attended summer music festivals, including the Aspen Music Festival and National Orchestral Institute. Graduating from Oberlin Conservatory and Juilliard, his primary teachers were Mark Gould, Christopher Martin, and Roy Poper.

What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, I picked up a job as a delivery driver for Amazon.
