Join the National Repertory Orchestra for our annual Children’s Concert on Tuesday, June 24th at the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center. This year’s performance is “Peter and the Wolf” and will include an “instrument petting zoo” after the concert, where children can touch and play the different instruments. The show begins at 11:00am, doors open at 10:30am. Tickets are only $5.
This special performance will be Assistant Conductor, Andres Lopera’s (pictured above, right) first concert on the Riverwalk stage. It will also feature a bright young performer, 9 year old pianist, Desi Silverman-Joseph (pictured above, left).
Repertoire Includes: “Olympic Fanfare and Theme” by John Williams, Piano Concerto in C Major” by Franz Joseph Haydn, “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” by Paul Dukas, and “Peter and the Wolf” by Serge Prokofiev. READ PROGRAM NOTES
