Gerry Pecht

Gerry grew up internationally, living in East Pakistan, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Tehran, Iran, before attending high school in Rome, Italy. He earned his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his law degree from the University of Cincinnati.

Gerry practiced law for more than 45 years with the global firm Norton Rose Fulbright, where he held numerous leadership positions, including serving as Global CEO. In that role, he led more than 3,500 lawyers and 4,000 employees across 58 offices in 27 countries.

Captivated by mountain living and the charm of Breckenridge, Gerry and his wife, Joli — also a lawyer — purchased their first home there in 2019. When not enjoying the beauty of Summit County or attending NRO events, Gerry can be found golfing, hiking, biking, skiing, boating, or horseback riding. He is also studying Spanish and learning to salsa.

Gerry and Joli deeply appreciate NRO’s ability to attract diverse, international talent to create a world-class orchestra. They are especially proud of the organization’s impact on the local community and have a strong passion for supporting the young musicians and advancing NRO’s mission.

In addition to his longstanding support of nonprofit organizations, Gerry previously served on the Board of the Houston Zoological Association.
