Bio:
David Schreck is a Chicago based Recording Engineer, Performer, and Educator with clients across the nation. Working with notable musicians such as The Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s own Zell composer-in-residence Jessie Montgomery, and Grammy Award winning Engineer Dan Nichols, David shares with his collaborators an appreciation for musical beauty, and an ear for detail. David holds Degrees in Music Education, Saxophone Performance, and is currently completing postgraduate studies in Recording Arts and Media Technologies.
What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I injure myself skateboarding about once every 2 years…
What are you most looking forward to this summer with the NRO?
I look forward to creating beautiful recordings that are representative of the hard work and performances of the NRO musicians! Recording Orchestra is one of my favorite challenges- There are so many right answers!
What activities/hobbies do you most enjoy?
I love to play Guitar in my spare time!
