Bio:
A native of New York City, Rachel Nierenberg received her BM from McGill University, where she studied with John Zirbel, and her MM from the Colburn Conservatory, where she studied with Andrew Bain. During her studies she performed with a number of ensembles in Montreal and Los Angeles. Since graduating from Colburn and moving back to New York, Rachel has been building a freelance career in New York city, and branching into historical performance on natural horn. Outside the performance sphere, Rachel enjoys working with young children as a teacher.

What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I worked on a farm two summers and I played horn on a horse!
