What inspired you to become a musician?
Realizing the creative and expressive potential that music has to offer.

Name your favorite composers and/or pieces:
Suite for Violin and Piano, Mvt. 2 – William Grant Still – This movement is one of the most beautiful and tender pieces I have heard.

What is an interesting fact about you and/or your instrument?
I am currently learning French! I find the ability to speak multiple languages to be very cool so I am pushing myself to pick up a new language.

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
I like spending time with friends and family. Outside of music, having new experiences with them provides fulfillment in ways music cannot.

Why did you choose the NRO?
I look forward to collaborating with an amazing group of musicians this summer. I believe NRO will aid in my preparation for a career orchestral performance with the rigorous programming that I am excited to dive into for nine weeks.
