Bio:
Suzie Chang, from Dallas, TX, began her classical studies at age 10 with Ronald Houston. She started playing the violin and switched to the viola in 2018. Chang performed her orchestral debut with the Odysseus Chamber Orchestra as the grand prize winner of the 2018 JDR Viola Competition. Chang studies with James Dunham at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University.
What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I have played the national anthem with an all-viola group in a basketball game of the Dallas Mavericks vs. Boston Celtics!
