Minwoo Jeong is currently a first-year undergraduate student at Juilliard School and graduated from Seoul Arts High School. His teachers include Greg Zuber, Markus Rhoten, Edward Choi and Eunjung Kim.
What inspired you to become a musician?
Thanks to my elementary school orchestra conductor, Nara Song, I developed the dream of becoming a percussionist.

I like Bach, Beethoven and Mozart.
What is an interesting fact about you and/or your instrument?
In my family, I’m the only one pursuing music. Moreover, there’s no one in my extended family who is involved in music either.
When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
Taking a nap or watching K-drama
