Mengshen attended music festivals including the Viva la viola in Shanghai, Vienna International Youth Music Festival, Morningside Music Bridge in Canada, and Aspen music festival in Colorado. Mengshen was principal viola in the Symphony Orchestra of Shanghai Music Middle School Affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory in 2015, Bard Conservatory Symphony Orchestra in 2019 and Substitute Musician of Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra. He won the first prize of chamber music in Vienna International Youth Music Festival and performed in the Golden Hall of the Vienna. ( Wiener Musikverein )
