Driven by passion for performance and pedagogy, Madison Booth maintains an active career as a performer and educator. She performs with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Sinfonia da Camera, and Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra. In 2023, Madison won the University of Illinois Concerto Competition and Second Prize in the Mid-South Young Artist Competition. She maintains a dynamic teaching presence through her private studio and as co-founder of the Elevating Flutistry Intensive.

What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I have visited 36 states, and I would like to visit all 50 states as well as every national park in the United States.

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
I love hiking, reading, crocheting, and traveling!

What are you most looking forward to this summer with the NRO?
I am excited to learn so much fantastic orchestral repertoire this summer! This is a wonderful opportunity to play with incredible musicians in beautiful Breckenridge, CO. I know that I am going to grow tremendously as a flutist, orchestral player, and artist.
