Kate holds the positions of second oboe in the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra and second oboe/English horn in the Richmond (Indiana) Symphony Orchestra. Her primary teachers include Richard Killmer, John Dee, and Pamela Ajango.
Kate performs as a substitute with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra, the Dayton Philharmonic, the Huntington Symphony Orchestra, the New World Symphony, and Symphoria. In her free time, she enjoys climbing, running, and yoga.
What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I have a physics minor that I will likely never use! I was planning on getting a double major in music and physics for most of my undergrad, but decided to drop some physics coursework in exchange for more practice time.
