What inspired you to become a musician?
My parents! They brought me to all my music lessons and gave me so many opportunities to explore my passions.
Name your favorite composers and/or pieces:
Romance by Amy Beach and Langsamer Satz by Anton Webern.
What is an interesting fact about you and/or your instrument?
My violin was made by Giuseppe Lucci and has two fish branded into the wood, which I think is so cute and unique.
When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
Eat! I love exploring new restaurants and cafes.
Why did you choose the NRO?
I attended the NRO last year and am excited to have another chance to perform with so many wonderful musicians. It is a valuable experience to learn such a variety of orchestral repertoire in one summer, and the beautiful location is also very inspiring to me! Through music, I want to change the world, and I believe that the NRO will open doors to opportunities that make that possible.
