What inspired you to become a musician?
A DVD of Kiss with a symphony orchestra, literally.
Name your favorite composers and/or pieces:
Manfred symphony by Tchaikovsky was the first symphonic piece that got me goosebumps.
What is an interesting fact about you and/or your instrument?
I am a metal music fan. I used to play by ear songs of this genre in my viola when I was a kid.
When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
Anything that involves coffee and a good conversation, it doesn’t matter the place.
Why did you choose the NRO?
I was looking for something focused in orchestra. When I saw NRO accepts only around 80 musicians I had no doubt on going for it since I believe it will give it a more personalized atmosphere than attending a festival with hundreds or thousands of people. Also, I have the certainty NRO will help me accomplish my dream of getting accepted to a major orchestra, and beyond the music, it will give me memories of a nice challenge, and I believe every young person should have those.
