What inspired you to become a musician?
Seeing music bringing and holding people together and enjoying music in my daily life as a creative outlet.

Who are your all-time favorite composers and/or pieces? Why?
Sergei Rachmaninoff for his second symphony, which I love for its brilliant depth of expression, and Fritz Kreisler for his charming, sweet violin melodies.

What is an interesting fact about you and/or your instrument?
I adore red pandas, and my violin’s name is Junne!

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
Jamming to random music, reading, and watching animations.

Why did you choose the NRO?
I’m seeking to improve my skills as a collaborative musician and study a wide range of orchestral repertoire this summer, and NRO allows me to do both surrounded by amazing peers in a beautiful location!
