Bio:
Hannie grew up near Seattle, moved to Minneapolis in 2019 after undergrad, and now lives in New York City for grad school. Musical studies and performances have taken her to four continents and most of the United States! In addition to traveling, Hannie loves baking, being outside, and laughing with loved ones. She looks forward to finishing her degree next year and continuing to pursue an exciting career in music.
What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
Mark O’Connor (violinist) is my dad’s second cousin, so maybe fiddling runs in the family! Katie Ledecky (Olympic gold medal swimmer) is my third cousin, but I can’t say I share any of her athletic abilities…

What are you most looking forward to this summer with the NRO?
I am so excited to explore Breckenridge, meet new people, and go on as many hikes as I can, all while getting to play incredible music every day!
