What inspired you to become a musician?

Performing Rachmaninoff's second symphony with my youth orchestra, it remains one of my favorite pieces to this.

Name your favorite composers and/or pieces:

My top three composers have to be Strauss, Mahler, and Rachmaninoff. However, I've recently been listening to Sibelius a lot and really enjoy his pieces. Particularly his first two Symphonies.

What is an interesting fact about you and/or your instrument?

My brothers and I were born on the Canary Islands.

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?

I enjoy spending time with friends.

Why did you choose the NRO?

I chose NRO because of all the rep we will be getting through, and I have always wanted to work under Michael Stern. I am also very excited to experience living in the beautiful state of Colorado for the summer.
