George Andrews is an Undergraduate student at Rice University studying Horn Performance under William VerMeulen. He participated in the National Youth Orchestra during the 2021 season and has spent past summers traveling with his parents and three sisters. George enjoys playing basketball and taking long walks in the Texas sun with his Miniature Schnauzer Chelsea.
What is something interesting that people may not know about you?
I lived in Rochester, NY and Chicago, IL prior to Texas.

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
I enjoy watching European soccer, poorly rated comedy movies, and collecting records.
What are you most looking forward to this summer with the NRO?
I look forward to learning and performing incredible repertoire with talented colleagues, as well as spending my summer in the mountains.
