Christophe Koenig hails from East Aurora, NY, and began studying the violin at age 4 under Amy Glidden. He is a 2021 Bachelor’s of Music graduate from the Eastman School of Music, where he studied with Juliana Athayde. He will begin his Master’s degree at the Manhattan School of Music under Curtis Macomber this coming fall. Christophe has had the honor of being the Concertmaster of both the Eastman Philarmonia and the National Orchestral Institute Philharmonic during his undergraduate career.
What is something interesting people may not know about you?
I was a varsity swimmer in high school.
What has been the best meal of your life?
A steakhouse dinner overlooking Niagara Falls.
