What inspired you to become a musician?
Seeing the older kids playing instruments in school growing up.

Name your favorite composers and/or pieces:
I love Bach, Shostakovich, and Schubert. I also love Paul McCartney, the Beatles, and the Jackson 5. I just love listening and playing music that evokes the kind of feeling theirs does.

What is an interesting fact about you and/or your instrument?
My cello has an unnamed luthier, but he is Italian and from the 1800s.

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
Reading, hiking, working out, cooking.

Why did you choose the NRO?
I’ve wanted to be a member of the NRO for years ever since I’ve hear about how amazing of an experience it was from the people around me that have attended. Being able to play so much amazing repertoire is something that I’m deeply honored and excited to be able to do this summer! I also love Colorado, have lived here my whole life, and am super excited to spend the summer in Breckenridge!
