What inspired you to become a musician?
My Grandmother highly encouraged me to pursue my dreams and continuously expressed her admiration in my decision to move away from my home to do so.
Name your favorite composers and/or pieces:
Sergei Prokofiev. A composer who might be as quirky as I am.
What is an interesting fact about you and/or your instrument?
I began my undergraduate degree as a double performance major in both violin and clarinet.
When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
I love spending time with my friends, having coffee and endless conversations about anything and everything.
Why did you choose the NRO?
I immensely enjoyed my first experience at NRO. I'm very excited to return to this beautiful place and make music with incredible people. I hope to raise the bar of my performance level overall while I'm at NRO this summer. The chance to be around other motivated individuals is a one of a kind and invaluable experience.
