What inspired you to become a musician?
My mother is a professional violinist and has been an incredible role model, mentor, and teacher throughout my life.
Name your favorite composers and/or pieces:
My favorite composers include Mahler, Beethoven, and Schoenfield but this list changes every day. I tend to avoid "favorites" since I am always discovering new pieces or rediscovering old ones.
What is an interesting fact about you and/or your instrument?
I play on a German violin by S. Niggel made in 1780. I played over 250 instruments in 6 cities before discovering and loving this one!
When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
I love baking and hosting events for my friends and colleagues. Traveling has always been a love of mine and my music has allowed me to do so much more of it.
Why did you choose the NRO?
I am excited to return to NRO for my second season this year. I first attended in 2024 and I truly loved the challenge of the performance schedule, the musical collaboration, and the incredible community that makes NRO possible.
