What inspired you to become a musician?
I’m lucky to come from a musical family. My dad is a musicologist, my brother plays bass, and my mom is a dentist but loves to sing!
Name your favorite composers and/or pieces:
Strauss, Brahms, Mahler, Beethoven, and Bach. They rock.
What is an interesting fact about you and/or your instrument?
Love dancing, playing ping pong and summer is my favorite season!
When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
I love playing any games, dancing and running.
Why did you choose the NRO?
As a musician, orchestra is a big part of my life and what I love to do. This summer, I wanted to be in a place where this love for orchestra and community is highly important. Therefore, I believe that the NRO will provide me with the tools necessary to keep honing my skills as an orchestra player. I also enjoy meeting new people with similar goals and learn from them. I am sure the NRO will be a great support during my studies as I am transitioning to the professional world.
