What inspired you to become a musician?
I began my musical studies on violin and wasn’t initially drawn to the tuba until I heard a solo tuba recital. I decided I wanted to be able to do that.

Name your favorite composers and/or pieces:
I tend to like music by French composers, such as Berlioz.

What is an interesting fact about you and/or your instrument?
In addition to music, I also study Climate Science and Global Health.

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
I love hiking, backpacking, and picnicking!

Why did you choose the NRO?
The NRO is an ideal experience for someone like me who enjoys playing a wide range of repertoire–from standard works like Mahler to new compositions and film scores. Getting to perform this music in a place like Breckenridge is an added bonus!
