What inspired you to become a musician?
When I first started playing in a youth orchestra, how fun it was playing with others.

Name your favorite composers and/or pieces:
Dvorak has always been a favorite composer of mine because of his lighthearted pieces and beautiful depictions of nature and humanity.

What is an interesting fact about you and/or your instrument?
My instrument has taken me across the country from Maine to New York, Chicago, Phoenix, and many more now including Colorado.

When taking a break from music-making, what is your favorite thing to do?
Traveling, visiting friends and spending time in nature.

Why did you choose the NRO?
The NRO is unlike any other summer festival in which it gives a fellow the opportunity to be part of a resident professional ensemble that plays multiple programs a week and is unburdened by other responsibilities one might encounter at school. It is a focused atmosphere where I will be able to play with great colleagues and have the benefit to figure out things for myself through trial and error and experience.
