A native of Detroit, Michigan, violinist Luke Lentini currently resides in Chicago, where he is a Fellow with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. Luke completed degrees at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and Northwestern University, where he studied with Marilyn McDonald and Gerardo Ribeiro, respectively. As a member of Civic, Luke has performed alongside artists such as Yo-Yo Ma and Ken-David Masur, and as a Fellow, participates in frequent outreach programs and concerts around the greater Chicago area. Outside of music, Luke is a Community Manager for Cloud9 Esports, Inc., where he helps create positive experiences for youth in games, both on- and off-line.
If you had a superpower, what would it be?
The ability to speak any language.
What has been the best meal of your life?
It is always spaghetti and meatballs, especially my mom’s recipe!
